United Methodist WomenUnited Methodist Women is an organization whose circles meet on different days and on different times of the day in an attempt to meet the needs of as many women as possible. Six times a year we meet together. Each circle and the Executive Committee take turns representing the church working at the Wardrobe and we all contribute individually and collectively to missions in and around Columbia. The purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. The MUMC unit includes eleven women's circles that meet at various times during the month. UMW General Meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of each month and feature a special program and fellowship time.

United Methodist Women Book ClubThe MUMC UMW Book Club Evening Book Club CirclesCircles are small groups within the Unit that have formed over the years to meet the needs of their members. Come join a circle of love. If you don’t find a group that meets your needs or interests, let us know, and we’ll help you start one! Bratton-Cunningham CircleMeets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in the homes of members. Breakfast GroupMeets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 a.m. at Upper Crust, 3107 Green Meadows Way. Eagle Online CircleEagle Online Circle is for women who are comfortable with the computer and desire to communicate from home and/or work. Devotions are posted on line each Monday. Esther CircleMeets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in Room 302 at MUMC. Gibson CircleMeets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in the church parlor or in the place designated in the yearbook. Grace CircleMeets the 2nd Monday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in the CLC first floor lounge. Childcare is available. Searcy-Feely CircleMeets the 3rd Wednesday during January-May and September-November at 9:30 a.m. in the church parlor. Sophia CircleSophia Circle is a group of women of all ages that focuses on service projects in the community. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in members' homes (except July and August). Stallings CircleMeets the 2nd Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in members' homes. Val's CircleMeets the 3rd Thursday at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and 6:30 for business and program in the church parlors.
