Missouri United Methodist Church 204 S. Ninth Street

The church’s mission is to “Connect All People to Jesus Christ.” In Children’s Ministry, we connect our youngest people! No matter their starting point, we help kids develop in their lifelong journey with God. We talk about God’s big story and help them see the active role they can play by becoming more and more like Jesus.
Every weekend we provide loving care for kids ages infant to three years old, and fun, age-appropriate, Bible-based activities and teaching for kids for ages four years old through fifth grade. We also host Discovery Days Preschool, Vacation Bible School and seasonal family events.
On Sundays we offer a Children’s Message during both adult services (9:15 and 10:45) in the sanctuary. Immediately following the children’s message, the children will be dismissed to join their Sunday morning programming (Sunday School at 9:15, Children’s Church at 10:45). If families wish for children to remain in worship, children’s worship bags are available with activities to help them connect to worship.
Before you head to your 9:15 or 10:45 worship service please check in at the Family Ministries check-in station in the Connector, the Nursery or the Narthex (on Ninth Street with red doors).

You can help with the performance or work on set design and production. FX is a family experience that is open to ALL. Whether you have young children, youth, grown children, or no children – if you are interested in working on productions to share the Good News – we have a place for you! FX does performances at (Not So) Frightening Friday, Living Windows, an outreach event at Lenoir Senior Center and another spring production.
