Music is one of the most common forms of worship. At MUMC, we have a wide variety of options for adults, youth, and children who like to sing or play an instrument. Our primary goal is to praise the Lord and inspire our congregation with exciting and challenging repertoire. We also strive to create a welcoming, warm, and productive environment for fellowship and mutual support. You are welcome here, even if you've never sung a single note, or ever played an instrument. We are here to help let you bloom.

There is no entrance requirement to become a member - only a desire to meet great people and make music together while participating in worship. Repertoire includes gospel, contemporary and folk, as well as the occasional "oldie."

Volunteering to sing or play
If you sing or play an instrument and would like to perform in church... please know that there are many ways in which an amateur or professional musician can contribute. Special music solos, accompanying musicians, playing the piano for services, helping out with youth and children's programs, singing/playing for outreach programs (such as nursing homes and jail ministry.)
