Part Time Nursery Worker - 

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children (ages 0-3) in the nursery, following both Safe Gatherings and MUMC guidelines

• Engage children through play (i.e. imaginative play, reading, singing, coloring, etc.)

• Change diapers and assist children with bathroom breaks as needed

• Comfort upset children (i.e. holding, rocking, distracting, etc.)

• Log important activities (changes, eating, sleeping) to communicate at pickup with families

• Arrive for shifts on time and stay until all children have been picked up by a parent/guardian

• Give 24 hours' notice and a good faith attempt to fill a shift if a cancellation is required

• Care for the nursery space, following expected cleaning procedures during and at the end of shifts

• Interact with families in a positive manner

• Share responsibilities equally with other nursery employees during a shift Provide a safe, loving, and caring environment for all children in the nursery (ages 0-5 years old), including following all Safe Gatherings (child protection) guidelines
