Memorial Prayer Garden
The Memorial Prayer Garden was established early 2000 for members, former members, and their families to be used for interment of ashes. Interment is officiated by a clergy or a person approved by the church clergy. The church is responsible for opening and closing of the site. A permanent suitable common marker will be placed on the church’s outside wall bearing the name, date of birth, and date of death of the person whose ashes are buried in the garden. In order to maintain the beauty for all who come to MUMC to worship, a financial gift is welcomed. Please do so by directing any funds to Missouri United Methodist Church/Memorial Garden Fund.
